I grew up sitting on the fender of a Minneapolis Moline. Bottle feeding runt piglets, ear tagging calves and breaking steers. I spent my summers cooking for farm hands, eating warm tomato sandwiches with my brothers, digging potatoes, swimming in the pond & napping under the willow tree. I loved living on the farm. My amazing husband & I still live in the same small town where I grew up. We have a little white house with a picket fence, hollyhocks & 5 beautiful children. A few years ago, I started my business, Besserina. I design & handmake pillows, quilts, curtains & handbags from new & vintage textiles. My love of handmade has also lead me to start a Handmade & Vintage Market called A Day In The Country; a gathering of 30+ amazing artisans at our fairgrounds. I spend my days loving on my family, running my business & keeping house. I love every minute of it.
